Arcadian Networks, new AWEA member, integrates renewable resources as electric utilities deploy secure licensed wireless IP networks
NEW YORK – April 30, 2009 – Arcadian Networks, a provider of wireless broadband communication systems to the energy sector, will announce at WINDPOWER 2009 (booth # 5917) that it has joined the American Wind Energy Association as a business member. Arcadian is expanding its solutions to integrate renewable resources for electric utilities.
With 28 states mandating 25 percent or higher use of renewable resources, Arcadian Network’s solution is increasingly relevant. Arcadian Networks is already active in the wind-friendly Midwest, where a number of utilities use the real-time, two-way communication network to build smart energy solutions.
