Arcadian Networks Presents on Smart Grid Wireless Communications at Atlanta Industry Forums
ATLANTA – November 4, 2008 – Arcadian Networks announced today that two members of its engineering leadership team will be presenting on smart grid wireless utility communications here at upcoming industry forums. Arcadian Networks recently added its fifteenth utility network customer under its managed service broadband wireless communication networks. Jake Rasweiler, Arcadian Vice President of Engineering and Network Operations, will present a case study on Thursday, November 6 at The REMOTE 2008 Conference & Exhibition to be held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel. Rasweiler will discuss strategies for smart grid communications over a standards-based, licensed frequency, high speed wireless IP network. On November 13, Arcadian Networks Director of Technology Robert Burchard will present at the Grid-Interop Forum a presentation The Smart Grid Goes Beyond Smart Meters on a panel led by Chris King of eMeter with additional panelists from Eka Systems, Itron, and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).
Grid-Interop takes place in Atlanta, GA November 11-13.
